Do you want the best all round African Safari?
Kenya in a week. This itinerary has been
constructed to embrace the vast diversity of Kenya in just a week.
From Nairobi your first stop is at Samburu, an oasis game reserve
on the northern frontier, located at the edge of Kenya's vast desert.
After the desert the next stop is the lush green forest. This tree
lodge and country club are set in the high lands of central Kenya.
Your safari next stop is another complete change as you see the
lakes of the Great Rift Valley with its magnificent birds. Finally
you come to the greatest game park in the world, the Masai Mara.

On arrival you will be transferred to the Windsor Golf and Country
Club. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

After breakfast you will be transferred to
the semi-arid scrublands of Shaba. Enjoy the beautiful landscape
and the desert animals not found elsewhere. You will note
the change in scenery from the green plains to the dry lands
and a rise in temperature. Spend two nights at the Shaba Lodge.

After breakfast we head south to the romantic Aberdare Forests.
After at the Aberdare Country Club, you will be transferred
the Ark with an overnight case. Shaped in the form of Noah's
Ark and set deep in the Aberdare Forest, this "Tree Lodge"
overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts
a variety of animals.

After breakfast transfer to The
Emerald Lake. The Emerald Lake and its tented lodge is
one of Kenya's treasures unchanged for thousands of years.
It holds the magic once embraced by all of Africa's great
lakes. This is a secret place visited by just a few lucky
travellers.
The camp is situated in the tree-lined slopes of the cauldron
of an extinct volcano. The centre of the volcano forms the
emerald green soda lake. The only interruption to your tranquillity
is the timeless movement of animals and birds.
The tents sit in secluded clearings in the lakeside forest
with sweeping views over the flamingo-lined waters.
Here, you can sip chilled champagne and dine on the fine
cuisine under the watchful gaze of genet cats and Colobus
monkeys - before being transported to another world among
the hippo, giraffe and leopards that call this private game
sanctuary home.

Depart for the Masai Mara after breakfast. On the way you
pass the breathtaking Rift Valley and the towering Mount Longonot.
After passing Masai tribal lands you will arrive at Masai
Mara for lunch. After lunch take an afternoon game drive to
view the leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant, giraffe - to name
a few of the magnificent animals at this reserve. Spend 2
nights at Mara Simba Lodge.

Take two further game drives at this reserve, which forms
the northern part of the Serengeti and is home to the black-maned
lion.
