Mt Kilimanjaro beckons you across
the border to the scenic wonders of Tanzania. At 5895 metres above sea
level it is Africa's highest mountain. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's
largest unbroken caldera. Thousands of large mammals - including lion,
rhino, elephant, buffalo, eland and hartebeest roam this 'garden of Eden'
on the crater floor, which measures 100 square miles and is encased by
steep, towering walls.
Serengeti means 'endless plains', and this famous national
park is home to over 3 million large animals. Wildebeest account for over
a third of the population, which means that their predators - lions, leopards
and cheetahs - are also close by. The remarkable migration to the Masai
Mara begins here in May or early June.

Stunningly beautiful Lake Manyara National Park is a birdwatcher's paradise,
with its swamps and soda lake. Baboons and blue monkeys make their home
in the tall trees of the lush ground water forest. The parks tree-climbing
lions, sprawled overhead in the acacia branches, are unforgettable. On
this safari you visit the best game reserves in Tanzania and Kenya - a
pleasure for the senses. 11 DAYS

Mombasa is a cross-roads of culture, where
Arabia, Asia and Europe blend with Africa in the sultry island city. It
is Kenya's oldest town and an ancient port; you can see some of the old
trading vessels that still ply their trade at the dhow harbour.
Visit the bustling market, the atmospheric
old town, the redoubtable Fort Jesus and the Mandhry mosque, one of the
many mosques and Hindu temples throughout the city.
