What our customers say:
Thank you for organising a fabulous Safari - had the time of my
life. Each day brought new adventures and we thought it couldn't get
any better after seeing an elephant matriarch with 5 babies.
The following day our driver, Peter, saw 3 warthogs running and followed
them. We then found 3 cheetahs. We were alone - only us, the cheetahs,
the horizon and Mount Kilimanjaro! We thought the best part of our
holiday was over when the Safari finished but the beach part was exhilarating
too. My son got his diving certificate and swam with whale sharks.
There were no hiccups, even our flight was good.
Thank you Thank you
Pat
We had a lovely time on vacation. Thanks for doing such a terrific
job organizing everything for us. We did not have to worry about anything
the entire trip. Also, the accomodations you booked for us were fabulous.
Since we were camping for 6 days, it was nice to go somewhere plush
the rest of the time.
Both Duncan and our guide Daniel (for the Kilimanjaro climb) were
exceptional. They stood out from the rest of the guides with regards
to performance.
Thanks very much.

Thanks for your e-mail
We had a brilliant time. Our driver, Duncan Mureithi, made
all the difference. As you know, I have been traveling to Kenya regularly
since 1984 (I have had at least 18 safaris in this time) and whilst
the standard of drivers is improving generally, I have yet to have
a driver as good as Duncan. We will have safaris in the future, and
I am regularly asked by friends and colleague to draw up itineraries,
and I will request Duncan every time.
I think in the future we will prefer to stay at the Ark rather than
at the Tree Tops. In particular, Tree Tops no longer has the genet
or the Bush baby. The accommodation at the Ark is also superior.
Lake Nakuru Lodge was not as good as the others. The Lake Nakuru Reserve
it self, however, was quite brilliant.
The trip to Crescent Island is an absolute must. It makes a refreshing
change and is quite delightful.
Mara Simba Lodge is also very good but the climax was Mara Safari
Club. The welcome and hospitality everywhere was excellent but the
Mara Safari Club surpassed everything.
A fantastic trip. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
Best wishes
David

A big big thank you for organising our safari in Kenya. We had a
wonderful time and the accommodation was super. The safari went far
beyond our expectations and we have only you to thank.
We would like to bring to your attention that the driver who transferred
us from Southern Palms to the Ukunda Air Strip was very helpful and
friendly. He stayed with us until our flight departed and dealt with
ticket passes on our behalf. If it's possible I would like you to
pass
our thanks onto the company.
Thank you once again - it was an adventure we will never forget.
Regards,
Beverley

JAMBO!
I had the most wonderful holiday, thanks to you and your very capable
and
helpful coworkers! It truly was an awesome experience. I want to go
back,
soon!
Duncan was a wonderful guide, and I have made a new friend in him.
All the accommodations ( Samburu, Ark, Lake Nakuru, Mara Simba,
Pinewood, Karafuu) were wonderful (with the exception of Mtoni Marine
in Zanzibar for a few hours). They are starting some major renovations,
so maybe
booking folks there might not be a good idea for a while. Thank you
for
approving my room change to the Palm Club rooms.
I will always treasure my memories from my first trip to Africa.
Thank you
for making so wonderful.

My wife and I just wanted to thank you for putting together such
a wonderful honeymoon package for us. Kenya was unbelievable!
Our drivers (Stephen and Duncan) were both fantastic. They were very
knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They both had a great sense of
humor as well. They made us feel very comfortable. What also impressed
us was there respect for the animals. The same cannot be said for
all of the drivers in the game reserves
All of our accommodations were excellent and the service was fabulous.
The Loldia House was beautiful and Peter was a great host. Justin
at Pinewood Village was also great. Wish we could have stayed a few
more days at Pinewood.
Also wanted to let you know that Stephen, Duncan, Peter, and Justin
had nothing but good things to say about you and Rajair. I'm glad
we found you. We will definitely recommend you and your company to
anyone interested in a Safari.
Thanks again,
Shannon - USA

A few comments on our recent trip to Kenya.
Flight out: Excellent,
Arrival at Nairobi : Warm welcome from our guide (Duncan) and
our driver (Steven). Quickly made to feel at home. The wildlife books
made available to us were very much appreciated.
Lake Naivasha: An awesome start to the holiday. Nice lodge
with super grounds full of wildlife. Food, quite good. The boat trip
out to Crescent Island followed by the walking safari with "Moses"
was the highlight of the tour for me. The game at close quarters was
a real emotional experience. The bird life was truly amazing. "Moses"
was such a knowledgeable guide. We saw seven Hippos on the way home.
Aberdares and the Ark: good journey via Thompson falls and
the equator. The Aberdares Country Club was very beautiful. The flowering
shrubs etc. were quite spectacular. The lunch was first class. The
Ark was really good fun great views of herd of elephant and much wildlife,
especially at 4.00am. We and the Captain (Tony), were the only ones
to see the leopard along side the building, only ten feet away, at
around 7.30am. The bird life was amazing. The accommodation was surprisingly
good and the dinner was Michelin Guide standard.
Samburu : The journey went well despite the distance, thanks
to sensible driving by Steven. The Intrepids was great fun. We were
so pleased you persuaded us to stop there. The lodge and grounds were
beautiful and the staff, without exception, were the best. The food
was superb throughout. The service was the best ever. The game drives
took us over a huge area because Duncan and Steven were looking for
"the cats". Over our two days neither lions nor cheetahs
were sighted. We had great close-ups of a leopard. The rest of the
game, the gazelles, the giraffes, the Oryx, the Grevy's zebra etc
were there in abundance. Several large crocodiles and a magnificent
herd of elephants within yards of us. The bird life was mind-boggling.
We were sad to leave.
Lake Nakuru: A long journey made tolerable by our drivers.
Reasonable hotel and the accommodation was OK. The game drive was
spectacular. First a large adult leopard, followed by around a million
flamingos and many other water birds, seventeen Rhinos including some
youngsters, game of all sorts and then a pride of five female and
two male lions coming up to full maturity. Finally another leopard
stalking a waterbuck. A beautiful place
Masai Mara : What can one say ? The Mara Simba was superb.
Full marks to the staff. The food was good but not exceptional. The
food was good but not exceptional. The accommodation was excellent.
The game watching was superb. So many wonderful views of prides of
lions and cheetahs and so much beautiful game everywhere in glorious
surroundings. The balloon flight was great fun even though we saw
little game. The Rhino trip was one of the highlights (thanks to Duncan
and Steven). The bird life was truly amazing and the crocodile at
the Mara Simba went well with the Gin and tonics.
At this stage we were taken to the airport via "the boss's house"
to collect our driving gear. The "boss" wished us well at
Pinewood and left us to say our goodbyes to Duncan and Steven. If/when
we return, we shall stipulate that these two lovely people shall be
our guides.
Good flight to Mombasa and met by Pinewood rep. Easy journey to Galu.
Pinewood Lodge : we are so pleased you recommended this hotel.
The welcome was as it should be. Peter was very warm and sincere and
stayed that way throughout our week there. He could not have been
more helpful but the same applies to all the staff, including the
owner. Our steward and chef were absolute gems. The accommodation
was great. The facilities were excellent. We had a great week there
unwinding.
The diving was disappointing because of the adverse weather conditions
out in the Indian Ocean (there was a cyclone over the Maldives) which
created a huge swell on the sea with poor visibility underwater. The
Pinewood representative of the dive-centre (Anita) was first class
and great help.
We had a good flight home and you will be pleased to hear that we
are discussing a return trip in the near-future, either to Masai at
migration time or, my choice, to the game reserves of Tanzania in
the dry season.
All in all it was a great holiday, with no hiccups and the only downside
was the staff at Lake Nakuru.
Yours sincerely
Colin Griffiths
