Although before I left
London I had anxieties about taking my children and Grandchildren
on the Safari holiday you recommended in Kenya, in event we had a
fantastic holiday. I enclose the following comments for your information
and to reassure other clients.
1. Rajair vehicles met
us punctually everywhere we went.
2. One night at the Ark
is worthwhile. The friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff is infectious.
3. We enjoyed the flight
to Masai Mara in the 2 Beechcraft planes. I would hate to have gone
by road.
4. Serena Lodge is excellent.
Your driver was knowledgeable and helpful. We saw lots of game. As
you suggested 2 days was sufficient to see the animals.
5. Ocean Village provides
a pleasant and relaxed environment with a safe beach and lots to do.
I would rate the accommodation a good 3 star and the food 4 star.
For information we met
tremendous friendliness and courtesy everywhere. We were never hassled
or pestered on the beach; there was absolutely no security problem.
There was total absence of mosquitoes and no one had more than minor
temporary tummy upsets.
Lamu: we had a marvellous
time at the Blue SafariClub. If any of your clients want a really
laid back escape from the world with fantastic food, free water sports
and with personal service this is the place to recommend- but it is
not cheap.
I hope this letter is
helpful and will give you some useful feedback so that future clients
can be as well advised as we were.

We are now back from Kenya
and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you. We had a wonderful
time and we were very pleased about our experience. We felt very well
looked after and welcomed from your colleagues in your office and
in Nairobi, especially your brother and Kuki (I'm not sure how to
spell her name). We were satisfied with our driver Duncan, and he
also sends his regards to you. What was also especially nice for us
was that we had Duncan and the car almost all the time to ourselves.
It was certainly a special experience and hope that it will not be
the last time, and we recommend your services.
The most exciting thing
for us was to be so close to the animals and to be in their natural
habitat.
We felt very welcomed
at the various lodges and were received with great hospitality.
One morning I left some
clothes behind in our room out of forgetfulness and on parting one
porter ran behind us waving with my shirt and trousers! Another time
two bags of ours got left behind in the hotel in Nairobi and we only
discovered it when we arrived at Mara Simba and the office in Nairobi
was most helpful to get them to us in two days later!
Altogether a great experience
which I certainly do again.

We are very pleased we
have had Duncan for our driver while on Safari. He has been very helpful,
kind and considerate. He has a very pleasant manner and is a very
good driver, especially on the way these rough tracks and roads we
have been on the last four days.
Also your London office
was helpful to us when booking our holiday.
We have enjoyed our Safari
very much, we are now looking forward to our few days at Hemmingways
If/ when we come back
to Kenya we will very much like to have Duncan as our driver.

I was passing your office
in Ealing the other day and thought to myself if that I really should
go on and express my gratitude to you.
The connections from Nairobi-Arusha,
Arusha-Moshi- to the gate went smoothly, the hotels on each end of
the climb were comfortable and clean and the way, in which we were
watered, fed and looked after on the mountain was top rate. I didn't
believe before I left that it would be quite so well organised. I
will definitely be passing on your name to anyone I meet that wants
to arrange any kind of trip in Africa. Of course making it to that
top was extreme challenge and one that I will never forget. I wouldn't
have done it if it hadn't been for the briefing before the trip and
the care of the guide through out the climb.

I had intended to write
to you as soon as we got home but events overtook us. Thank you so
much for organising such a super holiday for Colin and myself. We
had a really wonderful time everything went so smoothly except of
course the road to the Masai Mara! Duncan our driver/guide couldn't
have been more helpful as well as being good company. I can assure
you that when the opportunity arises we won't hesitate to recommend
Rajair.
